Through the contact form or direct channels we process your name, phone number, email address, programme and country of interest, and any information you include in your message.

Once a consultancy relationship begins, additional data such as the student’s date of birth, academic records, transcripts, language test results and passport details may be processed, limited to that purpose.

For site visits, technical data such as IP address and browser information may be temporarily recorded for session continuity and security.

3. Purposes of Processing

Your data is processed to respond to enquiries, conduct the free initial consultation, communicate suitable education options, manage application and enrolment processes, improve service quality and fulfil legal obligations.

Where you have given explicit consent, data may also be used to send programme announcements and marketing messages. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your data may be shared, only where necessary for the service or legal compliance, with competent public authorities, legal and financial advisors, and providers of hosting, email delivery and communication infrastructure.

During applications, data may be shared with education institutions and programme providers established abroad, based on your explicit consent or where necessary for the performance of the contract.

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, Inc. and a third-party email service is used for form delivery. This may involve transfers abroad, carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

5. Method and Legal Basis of Collection

Data is collected electronically via the website contact form, telephone, WhatsApp, email and Instagram.

Processing is based on responding to a request, establishment and performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and the controller’s legitimate interests. Explicit consent is obtained separately where required.

6. Retention Period

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing, taking applicable statutory limitation periods into account.

Data relating to enquiries that do not lead to a consultancy relationship is kept for a maximum of 24 months and is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Data Security

Appropriate administrative and technical measures are taken to prevent unlawful processing of and access to your personal data. Website traffic is encrypted with TLS.

8. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing, know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad, request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data, request erasure or destruction where conditions are met, request that such actions be notified to third parties, object to results arising from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.

9. Applications and Contact

Requests under the KVKK may be sent to info@mycvedu.com or in writing to the postal address above.

Your request will be concluded free of charge within thirty days at the latest. Where the process incurs additional cost, the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
